In the battle with cancer, let's hope your mom is a winner.
You hear about cancer and stuff all the time, and just go about thinking "Oh, that won't happen to me/my loved ones..." then BAM - it hits you hard, smack dab in your face.

Bad things are never pleasant. It's just that the unexpected ones hurt the most.

Hope you and the rest of your family are doin' okay. And that your mom will be strong, whatever happens.
